They found a loop hole...

Earthquake in California, sign from God.

Floods in the Bible Belt, the work of the Devil.

1. Funny how that works

RW Christians think they get to pick and choose who to blame for the event and which groups evil caused it. Since floods in the Bible are caused by God and not the Devil I guess the so called Bible Belt is in trouble. I've said it many times if Christ returned the RW Christians would be the first in line to crucify him again for his teaching of love and caring for the poor.

4. Nah, Talibangelicals believe that whatever happens

is done by a master plan from god. This is why they follow Pedo45 because he is god's chosen one. Putin didn't get Pedo45 elected god did.

7. Actually, the leaders tell them...

.... what to believe. Thinking requires some amount of effort.

8. Bad weather is a sign of the End Times.

And war with Iran would hasten the Second Coming -- so...good.

9. The flooding is God; His aim is just poor

Which reminds me of a joke:

A priest and his friend are playing Golf.
The friend misses an easy putt and shouts angrily: "Goddammit! Missed again!"

He does this on just about every hole.

The priest eventually can't take it any longer and tells his friend: "You know, if you keep blaspheming like that, the Lord will eventually take his revenge on you."

The friend promises to stop doing it and the next few holes pass uneventfully.

Finally, on the 18th, the friend misses another easy shot that would have won him the game.
"Goddammit! Missed again!", he screams.

Suddenly a bold of lightning comes from the sky and strikes, not the friend, but the priest who is fried to a crisp, and a booming voice echoes from the clouds:

"Goddammit! Missed again!"

10. Yeah, if you convince a bunch of fools that God, or the other god - the devil, did it

Then you can convince them of anything. Because you have just set them up for poor reasoning and magical thinking.

It took me until I reached 60 to figure this out and give up the last shred of a God belief. I use to be one of those fools.
