What a great looking group.
I'm an agnostic atheist (hopefully this is a place that realizes those aren't mutually exclusive). Stumbled on this place as I was looking through the "Topics."

1. Welcome to DU.
I don't hang around with this group much, but I CERTAINLY recognize those aren't mutually exclusive!

4. Do I have to bring it prepared
or is there a fire for me to cook it so I can eat it fresh? Or is this one of these raw baby places?

5. Welcome Volstagg!
Great avatar, BTW!
And yes, this is indeed a place where folks understand that atheism isn't a religion or a belief, and that "agnosticism" and "atheism" describe one's answers to two different questions. Glad to have you here. |

9. Welcome to DU and our Evil Atheist club!
Don't forget to check out the Atheist Bible signed by our Atheist Pope and review our commandments located in your membership packet you received from home office. Your secret decoder ring and complimentary baby jerky* will arrive in the mail shortly. In the meantime help yourself to some free appetizers. Oh and Happy Hour is 24 hours a day here.
* Disclaimer: this is satire, I've been instructed to inform you that atheists don't really eat babies. That's our story and we're sticking to it. |
