Self driving cars and disability employment

Wasn't sure where this should go but it seemed interesting. A lot of disabled people, myself included, have trouble finding work because it seems everybody wants you to have a driver's license, even when the job duties don't actually include driving. Assuming they get the tech right and self-driving cars aren't becoming possessed by Satan and running over anything that moves, this could be a game changer

1. Also, even non-disabled people often reach a point as they get older

when they can no longer safely drive due to reaction time or a host of other issues. Self driving cars may enable them (us, eventually) to remain independent for a longer time.

2. How will disabled and aging wannabe workers afford these 100k cars?
