... it was excellent.
I swear to god that everytime there is a meteor shower it is overcast here. And of course tonight is no exception.

(27,787 posts)3. We were very lucky ... it had been overcast for the 2 days before ... started to clear at about 7pm
... and was perfect by Midnight.
We went out at 12:30am and stayed out until around 2am ... and we counted ... about 60 in about 90 minutes ... which was awesome.
Sorry your weather won't cooperate.
My older daughter and I did it a few years back too ... wasn't cloudy, but not totally clear either ... we didn't see near as many.
