NASA's Z-1 Spacesuit: Buzz Lightyear's duds

There's an interesting photo gallery on the Space.com site for NASA's new Z-1 spacesuit. NASA's newest EVA suit is designed for both space and planetary surface missions. Space.com's coverage is very much on a 'Pop-Sci' level; but, there are some interesting historical images of NASA, Russian and Chinese spacesuits over the years.

Note that the Z-1 suit incorporates innovations from the Russian Orlan spacesuit; primarily the idea of having the astronaut/cosmonaut enter the suit through a back hatch.
