Nacogdoches, Texas -- A week after hanging an Israeli flag at his Nacogdoches residence, a Stephen F. Austin student woke up on Tuesday morning to find a dead cat hanging on his patio.

I tried to find additional information about the story that wasn't behind a paywall but didn't have any luck. If I learn more, then I'll do a follow-up post. However, I wanted to get the news out in case anybody is compiling these stories for additional research or to forward to an organization like the SPLC.

5. This is third hand information.

I sent this article to a fellow classmate that is Jewish after I posted here. My friend knows someone that knows the person that had the Israeli flag hanging at his house in Nacogdoches. Apparently the person two levels away from me believes that this was not done because of religious bigotry, but for other reasons. From what I can gather the incident did happen off of the campus.
