I am getting truly sick of the mealy mouthed claims by posters here that they are

"supporting the Palestinian people and not Hamas." Not a one of these posters gives a hoot in hell about the Palestinians in refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon, and not a one of these posters has started a thread remotely condemning Hamas. Indeed, there is a perpetual refrain here about the Palestinian people fighting evil Israel for their freedom, a refrain that is nothing less than an unqualified endorsement of the rockets and mortar shells being lobbed by Hamas.

Palestinians elected Hamas, and I see no groundswell (or movement of any kind) by the Palestinian people to rid themselves of Hamas. The bile that is spewed against Jews here is simple regurgitation of Hamas propaganda, and the perpetual "scorekeeping" is nothing more than a lament that Hamas has failed to be any more effective at killing Jews.

Frankly, I find the posters who deploy this alleged and perfectly disingenuous distinction to be the most reprehensible of the antisemitic gangs that have infested this site. Their support for Hamas is as transparent as their hatred of Jews.

Hamas kills its own people by firing rockets from civilian locations, intentionally trying to get innocent people killed.

Hamas is THE reason why civilians are dying, on both sides.

Israel is better at protecting it's troops than Hamas? Israel has better fighters and technology than Hamas?

US forces during WWII suffered a lot fewer losses than the German and Japanese forces, does that mean that "progressives" should have sided with Hitler and hirohito?

PS - the Palestinian casualty numbers people are relying on come from Hamas. You don't seriously think that they are willing to admit to the number of fighters they have lost.
