An Orthodox Christian is giving thanks, again, to the wonder working by St. Anthony of Padua.

A dear heart, raised In the Roman Rite, years ago shared with me the assistance that St. Anthony gives in finding lost or misplaced items.

Every, every time I have asked for his help, he has provided. Some may not believe this.

Today I really needed to find the title to my car or pay substantial fees for a duplicate.

We moved two years ago and I still have mystery boxes, but also bags of important stuff that needs looking over and shredding the unnecessary.

I looked in one bag this afternoon that had papers in it from 2014-2016. There was not much there. My husband's title was right on top. I said oh goody, it must be in here. No dice. I went thru roll around bins with drawers and found a multitude of important stuff, but not the title.

Earlier I just went thru a jumbo Hefty carry bag with all kinds of papers. I said it's gotta be in here. No it was not. I was so weary and started to almost sob.

Then, I mysteriously went back to the first bag I looked in this afternoon and there was a Ziploc plastic container under others down on the bottom that I must have missed earlier. You can guess what was in it! The title was there and only one other paper. St. Anthony gently guided me to go look in there again!

At our last home I tried looking for something and then quit. I asked for him to help. I was leaning over a dresser drawer and my clothing kept pulling the drawer open. This happened three times and on the third time, lo! The thing I was looking for was in there but way in!

Before I started looking tonite, I prayed all the prayers on one of the sites dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. And the tears were profuse.

I had to publicly give praise to the Lord for this. God is glorified in His Saints!

Thank you who read this.

Peace be unto all of us!

The proof is in the pudding, so to speak.
