If the discussion group is ready for Rick's Exquisite Zodiac..

I finished it this am, and would love to begin..

There is another thread that we have started, but for a fresh start we can commence here.

To Rick: You are a genius, and this extraordinary book on astrology is, among other wondrous things, beautifully written. It was crafted in such a way as to make it easy for me to understand, a definite layman, compared to most that frequent here.

It may take me a while to write my review for Amazon, so please be patient. I want it to be good.

For one thing, it is clear, you truly love your work. You have romanced it, made a bouquet from your garden of waltzing wildflowers, and took it dancing through the planetary ballroom and as a result, you have made your readers fall in love with astrology as well.

But the idea you have introduced(at least I've never heard of it before), of evolving signs as it coincides to evolving man just as everything in the universe is connected, is truly fantastic, and I think quite timely for the world to know, especially now.

I didn't enjoy the book more just because I know you. I enjoyed this exceptional book the most, because of all the books on astrology, this is the only one that touched me at a soul level. I think I get it now, at least the aspects you painted. Yes, painted, with a heart shaped crystal ball.

Did I mention, I loved it!??

Bravo Rick! Bravo!

5. what I loved best about this book is.....
Fri Feb 17, 2012, 12:16 PM
Feb 2012

It gave an in depth and diminsional look at all the signs.
For instance You are a leo but!!! Your subconcious motivations are actually inspired by the work of cancer.
AND if you grow as a leo you will learn the potential lessons of your oppisite sign which if Leo would be aquarius.
It gives a really in depth look at what signs your planets are in and the potential evolution your soul could take this time around.

Plus its got alot of cultural references and touch stones . Its a very warm and inviteing, witty way to learn about the signs.

that they are needing to GO to the next(ultimate) level-Pisces, BUUUT! Wouldn't that be true of all the signs? That they need to go/evolve to the next level?

But I think you meant something else, truly I do..so let me see, let me SEE!

Yes, I have been looking over my past "leavings", and mostly coming to the conclusion of wanting to depart from something that confines or doesn't fit. However, as I THINK of other details during the day I will update this post.

If Aquarians love to leave...

because they often(according to the Bingo Moment) feel confined in places, things, jobs that don't fit, then the subset question would be:

Why are they frequently putting themselves in confining places that don't fit????

So if Aquarians love to leave because of confinement and not fitting, is it safe to say that it is also because
they are always moving forward in the grand scheme of things, you know...ahead of their time?
..Snap..I feel like there is yet another reason...

Oh, Oh! Maybe because secretly they want to lead..lead others away??

Piddle. Now I'm just rambling!

It's because they sense their freedom being trapped, and poof, they split right away.
Many times, they split because it seems like their freedom is going to be trapped, but in actuality, it just becomes a habit.

which I suppose is the same thing as growing out/beyond them.

Uranus can be very on-again-off-again energy (like the alternating current of electricity). I don't know the why of that, but it can be a real PITB when it is found in relationships, usually when someone's Uranus squares a personal planet like the other person's Venus or Mars. (I've also seen natal Uranus square natal Mars in a number of gay men's charts.)

When mentioning Pisces a few times, Jesus is discussed. I Assume that he was a Capricorn, Dec.25th right?..or were you just bringing up JC as a possible connection to the possibility of him being an actual Piscean, that the dates were all wrong? He certainly acted Piscean, no doubt.

It's just an astrological joke,

I have no idea about the astrology of Jesus the Christ. My mother was a big fan. I think she lived during that time and may even have known him or was an ardent follower. She might have been a Gnostic -- wasn't that the sect? I've never been enough of a fan to see him as any particular astrological energy. In THIS incarnation, she considered him "Elder Brother" and Way Shower, and not any more divine than the rest of us, just way better at it.

I don't believe there is any reason to believe that we experience a lifetime in each sign or in any particular order.
It "appears" to be in circular order, yes.

"Why not?" Your guess is as good as mine.
Mainly because we are not our Sun sign.
I guarantee almost no one can even explain what a "Sun sign" is.

For example, I'm in a Capricorn Sun sign incarnation but am acquiring great Aquarian and Piscean lessons.

Try that question everyone, "What does your Sun sign mean?" "How did you get your "Sun sign?"

If each sign is an outgrowth of the sign before, then are our best mates always going to be the next one up from ours?

Or maybe our opposite sign in the wheel?

Its been so long since I have looked at that kind of astrology.. or remember who I am best suited for! ..in a way I see this love/mate discussion as part of the "we" in an interesting way.

See how I gave many of you a list of most of your powerful archetypes a week or so ago? Those same energies WILL be the energies you'll choose in a mate (and may very well not be their "Sun Sign&quot ; it's called chemistry.

Sun Sign astrology is very dangerous.
