Medium Reading

Hello All,

I had a reading the other day and thought I would share a couple of things with you all and get your insights.

It was a phone reading and I had met the medium in person a couple of times just in passing.

She concentrated more on my guides and guardian angels rather than my family/friends that are in Spirit.

Once thing she said to me was that I had lived 54 lives on earth - can that be right?

I always thought that you were here to learn and may be live a few lives, but 54 - am I a dullard or what?

She said I had potential to be a medium and should learn. She did not push lessons, but does do them.

I was all excited but now I am doubting this. Have any of you been to a medium and what was your experience?

I don't think incarnating 54 times sounds like a lot. We have a lot to learn and it takes many lifetimes to achieve.

Besides, she may have been wrong. Don't give it a second thought.

I wouldn't focus so much on how many lifetimes she said you had, unless you're intrigued about past lives and want to tap into them and see what they were about.

I have only had one experience with a medium and was actually very surprised at how well she tapped into the two folks she asked me to name. Nothing of great or grave consequence came through, but, for me, it was a confirmation of how we continue on.

was that I should be working on my Spiritual work and so I am going to try and do that.

I am intrigued now about past lives, but wasn't before. I didn't think that we came back so many times and now am wondering if I have something I need to work out before moving on.

Glad you had a good Medium to work with.

8. From what I think I have learned about

past lives, mine and others, I think most of us have had many more lives than we realize.

Because most of the time only a handful of lives are uncovered even in multiple past life regression sessions, that people think that three or four, or maybe a dozen at most is all we need. Plus there's that ridiculous book by Sylvia Browne where she claims to give the details about past lives of various celebrities. Gosh, somehow they all only have three or four and are now ready to move on.

All of us, every single one of us, is here because we have many lessons to learn, and in each life we only deal with a few lessons. So we need to come back over and over to accomplish what our soul needs to accomplish. So don't be freaked out by having had 54 lives so far.

The only thing I want to suggest is that if you're really curious, to find someone who does past life regressions and do a few. Personally, I have found doing that to be enormously helpful in terms of understanding why certain people are in my life.

.... it almost feels like being at a Mary Kay Cosmetics party sometimes.

The one exception was a lady named Angela who has actually worked with Law Enforcement to find missing people and solve murders. She does not "enjoy" her gift, she doesn't publicize it. And she calls herself a clairvoyant (clear vision), not a 'medium' or 'psychic'.
