I have seen Bishop Barber many times on MSNBC and enjoy his views on whatever is being discussed.

immediately followed by 46.5 months of further death and destruction. Even if you buy the hype, you can't ignore what followed. It seems like a very counterproductive analogy to make.

The gist of it is that during a world war a ceasefire was accomplished for Christmas day that year. Yes, much happened after. But even one day less of suffering casualties during a war should be remembered.

(but then .. leaders, and particularly religious leaders?, are suppose to appeal to our 'better' natures? So .. maybe the glossy narrative is at least in a good cause?)
