The religious right loons have a new theory on why god 'allowed' Obama to be President...

Stone said that even though Obama “attacked those who believed in God,” it was still “God’s will for him to be president for eight years” because it was during Obama’s administration that same-sex marriage was legalized, which is exactly what Jesus said would happen before he returned.

Hehehe. This is a new one... the mental leaps they have to make in their topsy turvy world must be exhausting!

1. They would definitely approve Dubya's affectionate relationship with Jeff Gannon.

God certainly got credit from them for putting Dubya in office.

2. I suggest he buy a Red Letter Bible.

Every word Jesus spoke is in red letters. Easy to look up what he said, according to the Bible.
This is really good for anyone that claims they are Christians.

3. "Every word Jesus spoke is in red letters."

FYI, should be "every word that unknown people in the past claim Jesus spoke, and later unknown people transcribed and translated and then retranslated and transcribed again..."

7. Very true and I don't buy any of it.

I am a student of religion and love reading. End up with a lot to ask those that buy into it. I’ve found the trick is to ask them about scriptures that will challenge them to think. As Christians, I want them to focus on the words of Christ. Very hard for them to do.
Everyone needs a hobby.

8. "As Christians, I want them to focus on the words of Christ."

Literally no one knows what those are. That's the whole point.

5. "It was god's will"

I hate that phrase. Its used as an excuse for everything from elections, to spilling the peas.

6. If you believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing God, it truly is "God's will".

If you believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing God, it truly is "God's will".

God knows all; past, present, and future.

All actions, both good and evil, have been pre-approved by God.

Otherwise, he would not let it happen.
