(36,693 posts)It matters to me how you and I converse
Once again you deflect
Does your mind only work in circles??
guillaumeb
(42,641 posts)We both know this.
So, using an actual example, if I state to one poster that I can only define Christianity for myself, and a third party accuses me of appointing myself as the official definer of Christianity, I might wonder about the willingness to engage in actual dialogue.
In another thread, I responded that being a Nazi is legal in the US, and that statement of legal fact was misframed, and continues to be misframed, as me claiming that I support Nazis. So yes, these 2 examples among more than a few have caused me to be wary.
In addition, some posters ask questions but never answer them.
But in the interest of dialogue, please ask again.

(14,854 posts)so as to try to convince you to become a Nazi, would you intolerantly throw it away?
guillaumeb
(42,641 posts)And if the person persisted, I would inform that person of my disgust with Nazi philosophy.
But Cartoonist was at work, with (presumably) a restriction on what Cartoonist could say to a potential customer. I understand that situation also.

guillaumeb
(42,641 posts)If so, explain the mockery in terms of motivation and intent.

(16,104 posts)Bold and audacious, too.
Another funny thing - how some groups of people have absolutely zero sense of humor.
guillaumeb
(42,641 posts)No sense of humor and a keen sense of intolerance and mockery.
