Question about establishing a religion

We are getting nearer to a clash of religious rights
Can one just declare that their religious rights are being trampled upon without believing in a deity, but a belief in the Universe??

1. It's in Article 18 of the UN's niversal Declaration of Human Rights.

Article 18.

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

Granted, it could be more explicit, but there it is.

6. Are you in process of establishing a belief system?

Given Trump's authoritarian nature, and given the nature of the modern GOP, (upon reflection, perhaps modern is not a good description of the current GOP), but given the current nature of the GOP, I cannot imagine them respecting any religion other than the Southern white version of prosperity Christianity. The one where great wealth is a sign of great favor.

7. Maybe humanism, or ...

Or ... Unitarianism! Or Confuscianism.

Or become a Jesuit or Pope.

All fairly good religions for atheists.

Unfortunately, there is safety in numbers. So a religion of one gets wiped out in the Trump Apocalypse.

I suppose someone could mutter something about "deeply held personal beliefs." But the Trump army won't be honoring any humanitarian conventions.

Or ... wait! Be a minister in the Universal Life Church. A vague group set up to avoid the draft some say, in the 60's. For a small fee, you can become a bishop. No very specific beliefs at all are required.
