Stephen Colbert defends the Vatican's review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Stephen Colbert is one of mainstream popular culture’s best known geeks, and best known Catholics. As such, the Vatican’s takedown of The Force Awakens put Colbert in an awkward position. “This review really has me torn,” Colbert joked. I’m now caught in a crisis of faith between deeply held beliefs embedded in me since childhood, and the Catholic Church.”
