Related: About this forumChristian website calls for violence against all Muslims in the USA
Its from Charismanews.com the website of Charisma magazine, Stephen Strangs popular publication for Pentecostal and charismatic evangelical Christianity (via). Charisma has always ranged from conservative to reactionary, but this goes beyond that. This is eliminationist rhetoric a call for ethnic and religious cleansing.

Cass proposes three possible solutions to what he describes as the Muslim menace to the world. The first two are mass-conversion of all Muslims and mass-deportation Deport All Muslims Now he urges:
...
What hes calling for, in other words, is the last of his three solutions. The final solution. Exactly that.
3. Violence. The only thing that is biblical and that 1,400 years of history has shown to work is overwhelming Christian just war and overwhelming self defense. Christian Generals Charles Martel in 732 and Jon Sobieski in 1672 defeated Islamic Turks and their attempts to take the West. Who will God raise up to save us this time? Will God even intervene or turn us over to the Muslims for turning against Him?
Either way, we must be prepared for the increase of terror at home and abroad. This is not irrational, but the loving thing we must do for our children and neighbors. First trust in God, then obtain a gun(s), learn to shoot, teach your kids the Christian doctrines of just war and self defense, create small cells of family and friends that you can rely on if some thing catastrophic happens and civil society suddenly melts down.

(1,957 posts)There was a time when most people who were very religious did not wear it on their sleeve. They were not a billboard for the non believer. They went to their place of faith on whatever day they went and that was that. They certainly did not preach and scream at those who chose not to believe nor at those who chose to believe in another religion. Even if they thought others chose the "wrong" one they kept it to themselves. But today it has escalated to hate to the point that if they can't change their ways, their form of religion it's to the camps for you--or worse. They have gone so far off the deep end to what they want that they would actually kill so when the "big day" comes for them they will have all believers on their side ride for the big lift up into the clouds, leaving a clean slate behind.

It's exactly the same as when Muslims threaten violence or anyone threatens violence.
I know you are being sarcastic here, but I'm not sure who it is you are trying to sound like.

(7,753 posts)No true Christian would ever want to wage war against anyone else, that's not what Jesus wanted at all.

(41,205 posts)And it is scary that these people can be so influential in some quarters. At least the Phelps family are generally acknowledged to be crazy; Cass is as bad or worse, and yet seems to be given some respectability.
Incidentally, Charles Martel is a popular historical figure with some groups who otherwise probably know little history. Rather worrying!
