Notice to the NFL: Buffalo came to kick ass and chew bubblegum, but they're out of bubblegum
72 for. 17 against in the first two games of the seasons, knocking off the Super Bowl winners and the AFC #1 seed.
It's not fair right now. Buffalo is almost unstoppable at this moment. Hey-ey-ey-ey. Let's go Buffa-lo!!!

1. Lake effect - I wasn't aware if this until a few years ago
A few years ago - possibly when Allen was drafted - there was a discussion about how a QB in Buffalo has to have a strong arm to be successful there. Likewise for visiting team.

2. Allen has a cannon and his completion percentage 1st two games is north of 75%
It feels good to be a Bills fan right now, especially after the struggling to get to mediocre from 2000-2019.

3. He's got Diggs too
Saw the first game. The defensive backfield is everywhere at once.
Yeah Kelly had a cannon and going way back Ferguson must have had a pretty good arm. Allen can sling it. Funny I’m not sure if the same applies to Cleveland. If he ever gets on the field Watson isn’t playing in a dime anymore. We’ll see. I’ve just disowned the Browns. That was too much. |

5. Stefon Diggs is no freaking joke!
He wasn't in Minnesota and he isn't in Buffalo.
(But, now the Vikings have Justin Jefferson... whoooooo boy, look out!) |

4. Let's hear it for revenue sharing and a real salary cap
That’s how a tiny franchise market like Buffalo creates a juggernaut.
Let’s hear it for smart front offices and coaching and a little luck too. |

7. Guess the Bills ran out of kicking ass too
Ironically, the "Buttpunt" as much as its become a joke, factored into the Dolphins winning the game. Had they gotten the punt off, the Bills would have ended up with the ball somewhere around midfield with more than a minute left, plenty of time to drive for a game winning TD.
I wanted Miami to run it on 3rd down to burn clock, then have Tua take an intentional safety by taking a direct snap annd running out the back of the end zone, a page out of Don Shula's 1970s playbook when Bob Griese took an intentional safety vs Steelers on Monday Night Football. |
