1. Where was this trail? You must be a serious biker I saw you were going 35 MPH on the highway

and you broke the 15 MPH limit on that trail. I went for a ride today for 20 miles but I probably
never broke 25 MPH down hill. It was a beautiful day for a ride 55 degrees and sunny.

2. I try not to be too serious about it

The trail used to be a road when I was younger and that one lane bridge was my favorite swimming hole. I've been riding down and up from there on and off for about 35 years, but usually try to stay off those twisty two lane roads these days. I was going to take a weird, pat-paved, part gravel park road that used to be an old farm road, but it was closed for some work (probably to replace the old wooden bridge down there) and there was only one route out from where I found the road closed.

The road is Thompson Station Road into and through a section of protected land adjoining White Clay Creek State Park in northwestern Delaware. It's near where Mason & Dixon surveyed the western border of Delaware to where it meets the more well-known Mason & Dixon Line forming the southern border of Pennsylvania.

The old inn and tavern structure is at an old crossroads called Corner Ketch.

3. I bike trails around Ohio, western PA and WV, that looks a lot like

this area. I bike with a group every Wednesday morning April to November
and with another group one Saturday each month from April-November. We usually ride 20 to 35 miles then
we pick out a good place to eat and have a couple beers. I got into biking because of an injury to
my foot at work, I am retired and 69 years old now, so far this year I have peddled 472 miles. Biking is great exercise
and you meet nice people. Yesterday was a nice day 55 degrees sunny so I did the Wheeling Heritage trail from
Wheeling WV to the Pike Island dam and back total 17.2 miles. Enjoy your biking it's something you can do
even when you get old. Thanks for the reply.
