Took a 31 mile bike ride today on the Wheeling Heritage

Trail and the Brooke Pioneer trail. What a beautiful day temperature in the mid 60s, sunny barely a cloud in the sky. The smell of nature and sound of dry leaves crunching under my tires. The sun glistening off the beautiful Ohio River. Watched a 12 barge tow navigate through the Pike Island locks and dam. A great way to spend an afternoon and forget about everything for a while.

4. Omg I gorged on those delights...

I wish that I could have a Coleman’s fish sandwich every single day 😋

My age 2-20 years were there, up north I guess, past Oglebay Park. My dad’s work took him there for 20+ years, parents were both from Cortland NY. I loved it, pretty country!

5. Everyone around here claims to have Coleman's fish but none taste like the

real thing.

6. Dunno...wonder if the coating was a flour+cornmeal thing?

Unique, and the fish itself (lots of it, too) always fresh and never overcooked. Served piping hot.
Two slices of white bread, some tartar sauce or ketchup, and yummmm.
