Trout honored with life-sized bobblehead
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Mike Trout has become a larger-than-life ballplayer, and now has a bobblehead doll befitting his status.
The Los Angeles Angels unveiled a “life-size” bobblehead doll of Trout at Angel Stadium on Friday. The doll — about 1.89 meters — stands on a base, making it slightly taller than Trout, the reigning AL MVP and two-time All-Star Game MVP.
Trout was impressed by the doll when he pulled off a black curtain to unveil it before Friday night’s game with the Texas Rangers. He reached up and pulled down on the bill of the doll’s cap to make sure the head really bobbled.
