The Miami Heat debut their new, darker, alternate jerseys

The Miami Heat have unveiled new, alternate, road jerseys for use in about a dozen games per season. As you can see from the picture above, the jerseys are decked out entirely in the color black, with a wee bit of white trim.

To these eyes, the jerseys are pretty cool. You can never dress in black and look uncool, but the alternate uniforms do seem to fly in the face of LeBron James' month-long hope for he and his Heat cohorts to stave off looking like the NBA's villains as they attempted to win their first ring together.

Sell tickets for 75 cents and advertise as "Come see the Heat play for only three quarters!".

they choked at crunch time, the "4th quarter" being the finals. You can't post a "Suck it you jealous Douchebags" thread and then not expect people to give you shit EVERY time you post about the heat. You'll continue to get this until the heat win MULTIPLE championships.

They beat your Celts which the Celts were favored---they beat the Bulls and they made it to the finals where they fell apart.

And guess what---at the beginning of the season many many experts said they would not go that far in their first season together.

Yes---their first season playing together and they were a couple of games from winning it all.

And major props to the Mavs for their epic comebacks against the Heat.

The shit I'm getting is simply form Jealous Douchebags who know the Heat are easily in the top 3 of B-Ball teams in the league.

Now suck on it.

First of all---Wade won in Miami---not Orlando.

Second---I was the first guy in this forum last season to say that the Heat wouldn't make the finals in their first season together. I thought it would take a couple of seasons. I was wrong and so were a lot of other people.

Them making it was icing on my cake.

Jealous---I'm fucking delighted at how well they played last season and can't wait to see them destroy the league this season.

and I can't seem to find it. Maybe you can help.

The "knock" against Lebron BEFORE last season was he didn't come up big when the team needed it most. You started the trash talk and had a bunch tell you basically that. Those people were proven right last season! Maybe this won't always be the case, but the naysayers were saying this would happen and it did... just like the people who predicted that Brett Favre's first season with the Vikings would end in a bad pick at a really bad time.

I 100% agree that the Heat are one of the top 3 teams in the league, which is what makes it so funny that they won't manage a championship again this year.

of winning a championship as mine. Basically none. Yes, the Heat will look great during the season and even show up strong in the playoffs (and maybe make the finals), but they won't win. My Celtics should be playing in the Shady Acres retirement league and will be lucky to field a team after all the back-to-backs this season.
