Serena playing for US Open Championship........

this Canadian is only 19 years old and giving Serena a run for the money. Serena has played her just a while ago, was losing and retired because of a back problem.........I'm thinking Serena is not going to come out victorious today. Got a real sinking feeling. Just want Serena to win so bad.

I still remember Jimmy Connor playing in his last big stand when we went out to a "fancy" dinner downtown. I could be wrong but I remember it being dark outside and on the TV (obviously).

can't today and not a Serena fan but I just looked at the scores and I think you are correct. Unless she digs down deep she is going to lose this. She has done that before, she is perfectly capable of doing that. I wish I could watch but.................not today.

4. Bianca Is The Real Deal

To be up 5-1 minutes in that 2nd set, then lose the next 4 games, here comes Serena....then she regroups and wins the next 2 to win. She seems to be able to stay n the moment and play the next point.

Serena must like Bianca, she was, to her credit, gracious after. She is running out of time to get another Major as she nears 40 and top players like Bianca, Bencic, Coco And Katy, etc on the rise.

I don’t see her playing for the fun of it, with little or no chance of winning, like her Sis Venus.
