No one wants a first round match like this, esp. when your back hurts.

I hope Roger EAs being overly cautious about his back and it wasn't bothering him. I also think he has trouble concentrating which happens to him after a break from the game.

A young American player in the men's side with huge amounts of talent? I almost forgot what it's like to watch a grand slam with an American advancing anywhere close to the second weekend. And while I'm mostly talking about the men, Serena and Venus can't play forever.

Tiafoe lost last night because he essentially choked in the final game, in which it was his serve. At a minimum, he should have tied the last set at five-five. And the fact that he choked is actually a good thing as that's something that will go away as he gets older and less psyched out by being on the big stage. You can't teach talent, and Tuafoe seems to have that in spades.

When he lost to Baby Fed at Cincy, it was clear he didn't have his act together. Cincinnati courts were ideal for his game. He was a potential fourth round opponent for Roger so I'm happy

That being said, it's also hilarious to listen to John McEnroe struggle to criticize Kyrgios about being a spoiled brat without sounding like a first rate hypocrite.
