Frisco Cheaters: Fire alarm goes off in Eagles' hotel at 2:30 a.m.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- It was a long night for the Eagles, who had to endure numerous fire alarms going off in their Bay Area hotel early Sunday morning.

Long-time Eagles radio play-by-play voice Merrill Reese said the first alarm at the Santa Clara Hyatt rang at about 2 a.m.

Reese said the Eagles’ contingent was staying on the upper floors at the hotel and had to use the stairs to go downstairs and outside while the alarm was investigated.

He said after about half an hour, everybody was cleared to return to their rooms, but once they did, another alarm went off.

I hope they had ear plugs.

It could have been anyone, could have been a desperate asshole with no fan affiliation who likes to gamble on Sunday games who wanted to rattle the Eagles.

Laying it on San Francisco seems kind of shitty.
