Who would win in a battle: Ditka or Palin? Neither, because they're on the same side on a big issue.
The Bears legend and Hall of Famer made waves recently with his comments regarding the Washington Redskins name controversy. He said:
"What's all the stink over the Redskin name? It's so much [expletive] it's incredible. We're going to let the liberals of the world run this world. It was said out of reverence, out of pride to the American Indian. Even though it was called a Redskin, what are you going to call them, a Proudskin? This is so stupid it's appalling, and I hope that owner keeps fighting for it and never changes it, because the Redskins are part of an American football history, and it should never be anything but the Washington Redskins. That's the way it is."

Good thing you're not governor anymore Ms quitter. Quite a few Native Americans in Alaska.

(73,321 posts)I blame those darned Indians. Come here to our country, demanding that they have reservations. Reservations about what? Maybe if Rick Perry becomes president, he can seal our borders and our minds, so that more Native Americans don't sneak in our nation.
And where the hell is the country "Native," anyhow? Show me an Italian-American, and I know where he is from. Same deal with Irish-Americans. But this "Native" bit sounds suspicious to me. I say check their passports and green cards, mighty closely.
I wouldn't be shocked to see that on her goofy internet channel.
Well done.
