The Panda wins another World Series and another MVP..

Just three months after becoming the first Venezuelan to win the World Series MVP award, Pablo Sandoval is celebrating a new feat - the championship win of his team in Venezuela's professional league.

The 26-year-old slugger helped lead his team, the Navegantes del Magallanes, to an 11-9 win on Wednesday night in the final game of the championship series over the Cardenales.

Sandoval hit one homerun and two doubles, and had two RBIs. He was selected most valuable player for the series, and his team won its first title since 2002 in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.

I'm glad to see Pablo is out of the hospital(colitis) and hitting, but it sure looks to me like he's put on more weight.

besides Sandoval and his Giants teammate Marco Scutaro, Venezuela has Felix Hernandez, Anibal Sanchez, Carlos Gonzales and Miguel Cabrera...not bad.

The cause of ulcerative colitis remains unknown, but some researchers believe that an abnormal response of the immune system is involved in the development of the disease. Food or bacteria in the intestines, or even the lining of the bowel may cause the uncontrolled inflammation associated with ulcerative colitis.

He should have lost weight.

at least he looks that way..his butt, thighs, and stomach all seem larger . I bet he's going at least 280 minimum. We've seen he can still hit, but we've also seen his weight problem have a negative impact on his fielding and make him more injury prone. The Giants really need to get a handle on this.

Shit ... it's February 1st. Spring training starts in a few weeks. No way he's ready by April.

Trade his ass to the American League where he can DH.
