(56,177 posts)Knowing he won't have to face Rafroid will give Roger tons of confidence...Rafroid has such a psychological edge over Roger it's ridiculous...we could be looking at title #7 and back to #1!!!!

(16,314 posts)only got to see first set, but Rafa just looked out of sorts. If he was worried about Spain's soccer team, he's a dumbass.

(34,095 posts)What a match. Nadal looked, or was, about 5 steps behind this kid all day.
I like Nadal but Federer is my favorite. Still, there is nothing better than seeing a hopeful, new talent come up. Good for tennis.
Congrats Rosol, well played, very well played.

(34,095 posts)but well. You? How is your baby kitty who is probably a big kitty now? You doing well?
It was kinda great to watch Nadal get all caught up and look really really unprepared out there today. He rarely looks like that. It happens to all of them once in a while but this helps clear the field for The Fed! He is looking ready for another win.

(56,177 posts)he has Maine Coone cat in him...drives the others crazy, but he doesn't have a mean bone in his body...it's always play time for him.
Sadly, I had to put my Melanie to sleep three weeks ago...she was nearing 17 and had had CRF for a year...she stopped eating and on the day I took her in she tried walking but always kept falling...it was time...I really miss her.

(34,095 posts)That is so hard but you did for her what she could not do for herself. It takes a lot of love and sacrifice of self to do that but you did. She would thank you, she must have been pretty uncomfortable.
I LOVE Maine Coone cats but could not deal with all the hair. You sure could not see that when he was little, at least from the photos. What a little cutie he was and probably still is.
My oldest cat died last August So hard, he died at home in my arms. I had been working to befriend a feral that hung out at my barn. Finally just a few weeks ago he started letting me pet him. He now comes in a part of the house to eat and wallers all over me As soon as I can reliably pick him up without scaring him he will get his "trip" to the vet. I have named him part of the name of my kitty that died last year.
We are getting a puppy on July 11. YAY!!!
So, my best thing apparently is thread jacking. MY APOLOGIES to the OP!

(56,177 posts)I still miss her and wish it hadn't have had to happen...like I said, she was 17, but I always thought I'd have her longer...she was a healthy kitty all her life.
Ashley's hair isn't bad, it's long, but he doesn't shed...India, who has short hair, sheds all over the place...go figure!
Yay for the puppy and the feral...I wonder if he's a feral or a stray that had been out on his own for so long he got skittish? I was alawys told ferals can't be tamed, while that's mainly true, I've found that some can...heopfully he becomes a nice lap cat for you!

(56,177 posts)I didn't realize he had not made it past qualifying the past 5 times he tried to play wimbedon...his game is perfectly suited for grass.

Nadal when the first set tie-break when I left for work. Didn't realize he lost until a few moments ago.

(56,177 posts)Even when it wasn't an ace, he would hit grounstrokes ridiculously hard and accurate.
MuseRider
(34,095 posts)Not like Nadal at all, he really did not even try for a lot of them.
