but I don't get some of the responses, cramps hurt like hell. Your muscles are contracting.

I've seen flopping in the NHL this post-season. The sport is no longer immune to it but it is a penalty.

A huge field, constant running. By far the most exhausting sport I ever played.

my reference to soccer was not meant to point out how soccer players get cramps too. All though that can be true. Many of them are floppers, particularly in leagues such as La Liga or Serie A..

Btw, I didn't know you were a fan. I'll be looking forward to your participation and the knowledge you bring, to the soccer/football group in the future..

though there isn't much knowledge I can bring since I can't watch the games. I just get basic channels. I keep up w/ some scores like Galaxy winning and Red Bulls drawing against Vancouver last night but without actually viewing them there's nothing I can really add.

I used to watch Mexican Primera Division games quite often but w/ the set-up on TV I usually miss them. I go left from channels 18-45 to see what's on while the Spanish channels are between 30-41 and the only reason I'll ever view the Spanish channel is to watch a soccer game so I almost never view what's on them.

Hey--- you're poor hero simply left the game.

Bonds leaves game with leg cramp

By Barry M. Bloom / MLB.com

SAN FRANCISCO -- Barry Bonds was replaced by a pinch-runner during the eighth inning of San Francisco's 3-2 victory over the Dodgers at SBC Park on a chilly Monday night because of cramping in his right leg.

Bonds seemed to be favoring the leg after he ran hard to first on a grounder to shortstop that ended the sixth inning. The Dodgers' Cesar Izturis barely threw him out on the play. The following half inning as he stood in left field, Bonds repeatedly stretched both legs in between pitches.

Giants trainer Stan Conte said that Bonds could have remained in the game but was taken out for precautionary reasons. Bonds was replaced by Michael Tucker after Odalis Perez walked him intentionally with two out in the eighth.

"We'll re-evaluate him tomorrow, but we think he'll be able to play," Conte said.

Giants manager Felipe Alou said that Bonds was taken out of the game for "health reasons."

"He wanted to stay in," Alou said. "He played three innings with it."

Bonds has missed 10 of the team's first 70 games, some of them because of an ear infection and a back ailment. He's batting .360 with 18 homers and 39 runs batted in.

Bonds was 1-for-3 in Monday night's game. He led off the fifth inning with a double to left-center field and scored moments later on Edgardo Alfonzo's single to make it 1-1 at the time.

I've already admitted you're right..the two really are very much alike.

And don't be concerned..I intend on continuing to impress that point until it suits me not to..

I'm not trying to change anything about my past defense of Barry.....I've just evolved. You know how that works. I now see things in a new light. However, what my past experience with Barry does, is make me uniquely qualified to see the similarities between the two..

I can assure LeBonds is aptly named..get used to it, it isn't going away either..

You're fucking hilarious.

What---you now a hater? You know--- those people you railed against for years---those people who dared challenge your hero Barry Bonds.

I came across a couple of turds the other day on a sidewalk.... all dried out from the sun...looking like they've been sitting there for a while.

I stepped over the two turds for the simple reason that no matter what they look like today, it's still shit.

NFL football players go down all the time on the field with cramps.

Tennis players

Why--- because it's hot and they dehydrate.

The Heat arena lost its AC at the end and the Heat locker rooms had no AC.

Of course---Hockey players play on ice.

Trust me---Cramps will put any man or woman down.

it's still hot as balls even with all the ice (The ice is kept frozen not by the ambient temperature but by pipes 1-2" under the surface with sub-zero coolants pumped through them.) and hockey players are wearing a lot more pads than anybody but football players. They cramp just as much as anybody.

Hockey players just think they're tougher because compared to basketball players...they are.
