It's finally finished.
Four months after the original deadline, hampered by just about every obstacle you can imagine, I finally handed over the manuscript of my next novel to my editor. That's the last time I let myself be contracted for a book I haven't written yet.
Now on to the next project. Wish I knew what it was.

1. Congratulations on finishing your novel!
I've known other authors who made the two or three book deal and regretted it later. You need to rest and play now to get your creativity stimulated. You'll have another project before you know it. Great work! Again, congratulations!

2. I just churned out 27,000 words in 12 days to finish it.
I need to keep the momentum. No time for rest.

3. I love it when the whole thing catches on fire
as you write to the end. Don't let the editor slow you down.

4. Wow. 1,000 words a day and I'm fried.
There are downsides to writing under contract.
