Ideas / Tips For Collection Storage

Clearing out my study to get ready for another semester and realize I've been living like a damn pack rat letting stuff pile up all summer. Now I'm out of room in my big ole plastic bins.

I can get more of course - but I thought I'd ask around and see if people have better systems and ideas for storage.

If all else seems moot I will just get more bins and stack them in a closet but it's not very convenient for sharing, which I often do.

1. In the words of that Japanese clutter expert:

Look at an object and ask yourself: Does it spark joy? If not, toss it.

2. Yeah

I should cull the collection. Though I have a bunch of series in full that I intend to keep around for my nephews for when they are ready.

Series I have in full or up to current run

Transmetropolitan
The Walking Dead
Fables
100 Bullets
Spawn
Y : The Last Man
Hellblazer
Preacher
Hack / Slash
Saga

Though these are all TP and collections

3. Switch to digital.

Seriously. I've gone about two years without buying print monthly comics and the advantages in reduced clutter and enhanced portability are huge.

I still buy some TPBs because they're nice for sharing and they look good on a shelf, but I'm done filling longboxes.
