Any others besides me suddenly fond of sweet bread-and-butter pickles?

I think because of my declining taste buds.

1. I cut those up and put them in tuna fish sandwiches. Either that or sweet relish.

along with sweet onions it makes a mighty tasty sandwich.

2. No, not yet anyway, but

having awful time with taste buds/tongue, NOTHING tastes good, haven't had a decent cup of coffee for weeks.

P.S. Lost my taste for pickled stuff after first pregnancy, 35 years ago!!!

3. Would a bolder tasting coffee help, bold as in dark roast?

5. Have tried, I think it's the combo of milk/cream and sweetener;

have returned to sugar, even.

Again, NOTHING tastes good (except ice cream after midnight!)

4. I'm not a big fan, but those pickles really compliment some sandwiches and dishes.

12. Me, too

Mt. Olive makes a good dill pickle and hamburger dills. I like Claussen for a good, crisp, cold kosher dill.

9. Synchronicity alert. Watched Gotham TV show last night, revealed Bruce Wayne's favorite sandwich.

Pickles and butter.

15. NO!!!!!

But, I see those pickles just like butterscotch candy. Everyone hates them when they're young. Once they reach a certain age (around 60), they love them. It's weird. I'm expecting the same for myself. I hate both now, but I'm sure in about 20 years I'll be buying them up like crazy.

18. They are an essential part of "the cure" for the common cold.

Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, bread-and-butter pickles.

If that doesn't work, horseradish will clear things up. (the Polish nuclear option)

19. Hot toddy

Bourbon (or Scotch), lemon, honey, hot water.
Open those sinuses right up.

20. When I was a child, I loved them.

My grandmother made them and they were wonderful. But I have no idea how many decades it's been since I last ate one.
