Planning commission recommends I be allowed to have chickens

At a meeting yesterday, they voted to recommend to the town board that I be granted a variance that'd allow me to keep up to 6 hens. No roosters.

Anyone else in town that wants to have chickens would have to do the same thing I did. Go before the planning commission and argue their case

The matter now goes to the town board who may vote to accept the planning commission's recommendation, modify it or outright reject it.

This is progress.

I've attended several town board meetings and planning commission meetings this year.
