"Man Who Shot Aldi's Robber Won't Face Charges"

MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man will not face any charges after shooting a robbery suspect at a Milwaukee grocery store.

On Friday, the Milwaukee County district attorney praised his actions.

Nazir Al-Mujaahid first told 12 News that when he saw a man holding up a sawed off shotgun threatening a cashier in Aldi's on Monday, he knew it was time to use his concealed carry training.

"There was a gentleman behind him. I nodded him to get out of the way. Thank God he saw and got out of the way, and that's when I had to fire at the gentleman," Al-Mujaahid said.

He fired six or seven times and is made it clear Friday that he stands by his actions.

Sounds like he did everything right and the DA has his head on straight.

7. Opinion?

Too bad it seems to be the exception.

Please explain why I am required to cite "evidence" when

expressing MY OPINION.

The above is not an opinion. It's a statement of your perception of facts. On what observation do you base your "seems to be" conclusion?

An opinion would be an avowal without claim to evidence, as in "I think it's the exception."

least of all an opponent of the First Amendment such as yourself.

I'm pretty sure you'd be happier posting on a pro-gun website that allows no alternate opinions or questioning of the party line.

I have in no way denied your right to free speech. I merely pointed out that what you claim was opinion was actually phrased as an evidence-based statement of fact, yet you decline to identify that evidence.

I'm sure you'd be happier if I didn't question your particular version of the party line. Are you starting to see the irony here? First Amendment and all that?

This is the absurdly obvious line that is parroted all of the time.

The equally obviously follow-up that is understated:

An informed opinion trumps an uninformed opinion 365 days a year.

There was no opinion, and there was no attack. I'm quite familiar with the TOS. If you have an issue with what I said, feel free to alert on it.

You are not required to provide evidence, but doing so does contribute considerable credibility to your opinion.

Never mind.

The irony is palpable on this story, considering many of the posts and comments when Wisconsin passed CCW.

As my father says, Mr. Al-Mujaahid sounds like he has his head screwed on right. It's nice to hear the DA is praising his actions.

12. Mr. Al-Mujaahid is clearly an agent of NRA thuggery and a hidden criminal!

So hidden that even when his actions are scrutinized by police and the DA, no crime was detected.

...of a coincidence that there is no evidence whatsoever of wrong doing. That obviously means that there is an NRA conspiracy going on.
