(51,584 posts)students from when my little dog died in 2002. I read them each year and light a candle for her on the day she passed away. I still cry but I have happy memories. My ashes and my current little dog will all have our ashes together at her favorite cactus at our doggy park. My trust lawyer said a lot of pet owners do this too.

(51,584 posts)to riding in my car and hearing Pink Floyd's "Animals" album playing on volume #11 in my car. BigmanPigman is from that record and the song "Dogs" is their favorite song on the album (they told me so). In my trust I am leaving 75% of my assets to the San Diego Humane Society and The Morris Animal Refuge in Phila where I was a foster parent to the babies while I attended art school there. The best memories of my life are of "all my children". This is "the year of the dog" in the Chinese zodiac..."loyal, hardworking and often stubborn".

(51,584 posts)99.999999% better than any GOP rep. If I were one of their dogs I would want to run away or bite them in the crotch area but they are so loyal they would just stay and suffer.

(51,584 posts)Thank goodness for all the dogs out there. The ASPCA would have to make a visit.

(804 posts)I must admit, though, that I'm getting so cynical that when I read the first line,"Sorry if you don't like it or it makes you emotional", I just assumed something mean was going to follow.
