Miss Frodo, a 14 year old B&G Macaw, laid her 1st egg.

She has been in the nesting mode for months.

I hope she returns to her normal personality soon. [img][/img] [img][/img]

She became aggressive toward everyone (except me) several months ago. She also stopped talking. There is a deep groove in both sides of her lower beak showing excessive wear. He feathers are in a sad shape due to lack of grooming.

No, it was cracked or I would have returned it to her. In_The_Wind May 2015 #7

She was eating seeds supplemented by formula. That was stressful for both of us.

Thanks. I hope she doesn't have a long drawn out nesting time each spring. She was shredding paper towels all night.

Yesterday I commented on her change in appearance. Her belly was hanging low.

She did look at the spot where I found it so she's missing it.

She is healthy but hasn't returned to her normal loving behavior. [img][/img]
