Powdery mildew problem?

This baking soda recipe is working for me so far

Notice the white mildew is dying. It's turning dark.

1. I am going to add phlox to my garden next year.

Always had terrible mildew issues but reading this gives me new hope.

7. I'm trying a powdery mildew resistant strain next year

https://www.seedwise.com/listing/670/dmr-401-cucumber

You can read about the experiment at this page:

http://vegetablemdonline.ppath.cornell.edu/Tables/Cucumber_Slicer-DM_2017_V069-McGrath.pdf

thanks for the tip, shred. I use Green Cure which is a kind of souped up sodium bicarbonate, but will add the soap and the oil. If you think about it, that's what they do with Serenade.
