The only shellfish we have down here is these horrible rock lobsters. No claws - which is my favorite part.

I'l love to have some fresh crab.

I think I am going to just add rice to that.

And then some sandwiches with the rest of the chicken and some slaw.

I have been a total slug today, so maybe some fruit for dessert, but I didn't really earn much else.

How about you?

DH gets home on Sunday, so will be motivated to cook again. Howinhell do widows and widowers cope with this?

I'm single...

My next door neighbors (who are aMAZing neighbors) are frequently the recipients of my cooking experiments. I was asked to bring pumpkin soup to last years Thanksgiving dinner and they suffered through four versions to help settle on a recipe.

Gladys will frequently remind me that I *DO* have a freezer... but it's more fun to share.

--and do food sharing and stuff. We are both of an age where we realize that one way or another, one of us is going first.
