Related: About this forumI like homemade ketsup. But a recipe I saw indicated that it would last for two weeks
in the refrigerator. I think it will last longer. Vinegar, sugar and tomato paste, what's to go bad? Any ideas?
Also, wont tomato paste last a long time in the refrigerator?

so never had any go bad.
There's nothing magic about commercial ketchup - no preservatives added - just the vinegar, salt, acidity of the tomatoes
and cooking keep it from going bad for a while.

find recipes for it online. Made with tomatoes, pears and such. Really good.
