Mine is tuna casserole, like from the 1960's with noodles, tuna, and mushroom soup. Just the smell chases my family away, lol!

I love pico de gallo with cilantro... Hardly anyone else I know can stand cilantro.
I will eat ANY bean EXCEPT lima beans... Uggh. My extended family loves them.

(2,501 posts)I used to watch troops in an Army mess hall getting breakfast - eggs, pancakes, meats, etc. - and then having SOS poured over the whole plate. Disgusting to look at (probably tastes great).

(2,220 posts)I could make chili once a month. My husband will eat it maybe twice a year. He loves his Hungarian grandmothers fried noodles and cabbage. I hate anything with cooked cabbage. So whenever I make chili, he makes a huge pot of noodles and cabbage, and were both happy. However, our house smells really..interesting..for a few days.

(8,052 posts)that I grew up on, buttered breadcrumbs on top--although my kids liked it whenever I made it, my husband was not a fan. I sometimes buy the Stouffers frozen dinner version, it's similar. My husband and younger son eat oatmeal, and I can't fathom why anyone would eat flavorless paste. My mom loved Cream of Wheat, and nobody else would touch it--a comedian named Ivan Decker described it as tasting exactly like the inside of your mouth, LOL. That's how I feel about oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits, etc.

We're pretty compatible when it comes to food ingredients, but in execution we often disagree.
