Were you nervous about it? I get stressed over making a family birthday cake, a wedding cake would be very scary......

I actually got paid for making it by a co-worker. I baked the cakes on Friday night, did the icing and stacking on Saturday, and took it to the Sunday wedding. I wasn't entirely pleased with my work, but everybody else was happy. The groom had a belt buckle that I duplicated in gum paste and it was a 'cowboy' wedding theme, held in a real barn.

We are always our own worst critics....

Fondant is very touchy stuff, and your three cakes that I've seen here show a great mastery of that temperamental substance.

Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

is the transporting part. If you assembled it the day before, how do you deliver it without it falling apart? I delivered my flourless cake today and even taking corners really slow, it still slid around in the box. Luckily there wasn't much to damage. Not so with something like a wedding cake

Nonetheless, that's a brilliantly done cake!

Read your comment about transporting - yes, that would be very stressful, but you have that mastered too!

Wonderful job!
