(17,420 posts)FLFC heartily approves this menu.
Fresh ground beef from the butcher for the burgers. Several cheese choices. I'm leaning towards pepper jack.
Likely sides
Oven fried potato wedges
Veggie TBD, something from the freezer.
FLFC and TJ are sleeping. I hope they get up soon, I'm hungry.

(38,529 posts)but the only chicken I have is some drumsticks.
So I browned the skin-on chicken first then removed it from the pan, added some chopped onions and some minced garlic to the pan to soften, and then made a pan gravy using chicken broth and poultry gravy mix (I added some sage, rosemary and a bay leaf). Then I put the chicken back in the pan and let it finish cooking (covered). I added some frozen peas and carrots near the end.
Served it all w/ some mashed potatoes.
Tasty enough.
There still may be a bit of bread pudding left. If my guy doesn't it get to it first, I'll have it.

(15,088 posts)Broccoli, carrots, and tofu seasoned with garlic, chili oil, soy, and sesame oil. I like those pre-cubed packages of tofu for a quick protein to add to a stir fry. Served with medium-grain rice. Lots of leftovers because I was just cooking for myself tonight.

(5,631 posts)Pork i think - from the freezer. I started them in seseme oil and then added coconut vinegar, soy sauce and a little water to the pan. Let this all boil out and slightly brown the bottoms of the potstickers. So yummy.
Spinach salad with cukes, broc and onion. Finished with walnuts. Had a shitake and sesame dressing and also sprinkled some coconut vinegar on the greens.
