(17,427 posts)Last night's tenderloin turned out well. A very pronounced crust just teeming with garlic and rosemary.
A few slices of the pork with stewed apples and broccoli cheese casserole.

(17,427 posts)I used some of the sweet cinnamon flavored juice from the apples as a sauce for the pork. I even plated it pretty.
I forgot I had some oven fried sweet potato wedges leftover. They would have gone well with it all.

(68,539 posts)never tasted rosemary until my youngest was born. my church friends took turn sending in meals. I still remember the port with garlic and rosemary, Zucchini and potato au gratin. Brownies for dessert. I had never even had zucchini...Mom grew up on a small farm. Her mom was a great cook. My Mom could could cook a few things really well, but she didn't like cooking much. We ate out of boxes mostly. I think I was 10 before I realized mashed potatoes didn't come in a box. We ate a limited amount of vegetables too...frozen broccoli, peas, california mix and frozen spinach (yuck). I love fresh spinach today or sauteed spinach. I love to cook...take after Gran I guess and use all sorts of spices. Your meal sounds lovely with or without sweet potato wedges.

(12,253 posts)baked potato, sauteed Brussels sprouts, and slices of tomato topped with fresh cucumber pickle with lemon. Freezing rain bands passed through my part of Oklahoma tonight, but it's super cold with lots of road-ice wrecks all over the place. Good day to stay in and be creative.

(68,539 posts)for dessert...strawberries and whipped coconut cream (yes in a cruel twist of fate I also am both gluten and dairy intolerant). This is the first time I tried coconut cream. It was good.
