Looks like it will be beef fajitas here tonight. We have some gorgeous orange and red peppers that will be great in fajitas.
What's for dinner where you are?

(146,218 posts)I really want to see the Oscars, but can't get it at home....
So, I might want to go to town...
But then the bar might close before they are over, which would really be a drag...
Plus, it always ends up costing too much to go there...
More ovaltine, please. I will decide later.

(135,060 posts)but am at a loss to what I want to do with them. Maybe once I get a bit hungrier I will have some ideas. I might just take your lead and do chicken fajitas since I've got everything needed and won't need to go to the grocery.

(35,654 posts)For lunch: Spaghetti and meatballs. I already made the meatballs and the tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes.
For dinner: Chicken cordon bleu.
For both meals: big salads.
Also this weekend: I'm making various hot sauces with red jalapenos and freezing the sauces in bags.

(20,234 posts)I swear up until this year, I'd make a big turkey for thanksgiving, invite relatives over, and the leftovers would be neverending.
Since I went high protein, low carb, turkeys disappear so fast I can't figure out what happened. We had one on Friday, just the two of us, and it must have been 16 pounds. Here we are on Sunday, I sliced some for sandwiches for the week, soup's already made and the bones are picked clean, and I feel like I'm missing about 5 more meals I expected from it.
Anyway, we had turkey, mashed cauliflower with gravy, and a giant salad. I am stuffed, and developing a serious turkey addiction.

(9,791 posts)We were all settled in to watch the Daytona 500 this afternoon but it was rained out. We ended up watching a NYY vintage baseball game and cooking shows.
