We're having tacos tonight.
For lunch the RG made up all kinds of seafood. We had large shrimp in tomato sauce with spaetzle. Also clam sauce over linguine. I made the salad, which was this very fresh spinach with cherry tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese which had been marinated in herbs, pepper, and olive oil.
A friend came over and gave us a blueberry pie from Whole Foods. Their crusts are so delicious, and this pie was, too. He also gave us a pint of ice cream with ginger in it. Warmed up the pie, and with the ginger ice cream, it was a winner combination!

Last night we got some Veg. Cantonese Chow Mein and Veg. Egg Fu Yung. Always get enough for two or three meals.
Dessert will be vegan vanilla cupcakes with lemon frosting.

The soup I made yesterday was very good. It was mostly cabbage, bean and ham with some potato, carrot, celery and onion. Garlic, thyme, bay, salt, pepper plus rosemary for seasonings. I don't usually put rosemary in my soup, but it worked well. It was a far cry from the bean soup that I started out to make. It's hard to err making soup.
