Do old boxes of Jello and instant pudding go bad?

Cleaning cupboards today (LONG overdue) and found a stash of them I forgot. "Best if used by June 2008"...but do they really go bad? No biggie if they have to be tossed, just a shame. Thanks!
I did chuck the boxes of Rice-a-roni that expired in 2006 I found elsewhere.

1. jello, no. If there is something with fat in it in the pudding, it might.

2. They won't kill you

but they're likely to taste of the main ingredients, cornstarch and sugar, instead of what's listed on the label.

Pudding is still cheap enough that I'd toss it and get some that still has flavor.

3. Thanks! Jello stays, pudding goes

In the trash. Anything with fat in the mix like cake mixes has a limited shelf life.
DH has Crohn's and there have been times that jello and Lipton chicken noodle soup were the only things he could tolerate so I have a lifetime supply of jello. Thankfully he's stabilized on medication and can eat most things now.

4. A box of lime jello found in an egyptian tomb

made perfectly divine fruit salad cups.

5. You might want to look closer

That could be a half-life, instead of an expiration date.
