my bread was a hit

we had dinner with my dad and sister tonight and the whole loaf got gobbled up with a pot of chicken stew. my sister has been pretty much gluten free since early last summer but decided it was worth the pain to have more than a few bites.

the crust, omg, the crust. if i could find a way to make nothing but heels of that loaf, i'd never want anything other bread product ever again.

i was the only one who had any complaints about it and that was that it needed a bit longer to cool.

my husband wants this to be a regular thing and i've already found some other variations i want to try.

it makes enough base dough for several loaves at one time. And you just pull out what you need each day. Really easy process.

I have some good ones in my journal, and the archives have a lot of C&B discussions about the bread making process. A lot of us went no-knead bread crazy a few years back.
