1. Ooh, that sounds good.

3. Weird. How do you turn cookies into a spread.
What is it like? It looks like peanut butter?
Is it like cake frosting in consistency? That is the only way I can think of to get from A to B -- from a cookie to a spread -- sort of grind the cookies to a powder and then blend into a frosting-like product. |

5. It's the consistency and texture of nutella
Run, Hide....quickly It is amazing because it isn't cloyingly sweet like frosting. Think of a really good light gingerbread cookie mixed with butter but not "fatty" tasting.

It sounds delish!
This is another spread and I just love this one... ![]() I like to find different spreads for these thingies.. ![]() I'm not a fan of hazelnut though so I don't do Nutella. |

It's hard enough for me to avoid the Nutella and its clones as it is.

11. Alas that jar is long gone BUT
I did find an ingredient list for another brand.
Speculoos 57% (wheat flour, sugar, vegetables oil and fat, soy flour, candi sugar syrup, baking powder (carbonate acid sodium), salt, cinnamon), rape oil, sugar, emulsifier (soy lecithin), food acid (citric acid). Contain : wheat, soy. Speculoos is a cookie popular in Belgium Here's also a link for homemade http://www.cheapethniceatz.com/2010/09/23/homemade-speculoos-spread/ My daugther told me that Trader Joes also has one called Cookie Butter. I'm going there today and will pick up some and post those ingredients. But seriously....If we could do this with other cookies....Why not Oreo Spread? Shortbread Spread? Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Spread? OMG....The World Is Mine BWHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! |

13. are you looking at the creamy version
My french isn't that great but I don't think that recipe looks right. It seems to call just for cookies, milk, orange zest and salt. Leave t
It to meld together in the fridge. It called for half a litre of milk which IMO seems like a lot. Bet it would still taste great though. I would be tempted to add some of the fatty cream you can scoop off the top of a cold can of coconut milk |

14. That's why I asked
My French is from grade school so I can't rely on it AT ALL, but that's exactly what I came up with too! And I agree with you that it needs some fat. It just seems like too much milk to be as thick and as smooth as the picture shows.

15. This is so reminding me of when I was pregnant
My big craving involved mushing Sarah lee pound cake with orange juice, bananas, and peanut butter. Il roll it into balls and pour a bit of chocolate sauce over it. It got me through a difficult time.
