Keeping a turkey warm (per Butterball)
If for some reason your meal is delayed and you need to keep the turkey warm, wrap it in tinfoil (if you can't fit the pan in the ice chest) put it in an ice chest and surround on all sides with crumpled newspaper.
We've had to do this a couple of times and it's saved the day. Turkey stayed moist and warm.
