(I know we are going to do this as a part of our pinned section, but I am making this post so it will be in my journal)
Collecting a few of my favorites all in one place. I started a blog for this, but I never work on it.
If you'd like to add any, please feel free.
Some of these are great food, others are inspiration, or really great food writers.

Edited my post because I'm a goof. I'm familiar with Bakerella and Smitten Kitchen, but the other two are new for me! Thanks!

It has a number of really interesting-looking recipes. Some are kind of run-of-the-mill.

Aroma Cucina: http://aromacucina.typepad.com/aroma_cucina/ (I hadn't stopped by in a while, but I think the Fennel Gratin I just found there today might be on our Xmas dinner table. Might be a fun/easy dish for you too, Lucinda.)
Palachinka: http://palachinkablog.com/ (LOL! There's a baked fennel recipe there too. Message received and understood, Universe! )

If I can find some fennel locally I will be making it some time this week. It can be tough finding some things in my grocery store because they cater heavily to the tourist trade...so steaks, grill foods, basic "make a meal in a vacation cabin" cooking items abound, but not so much anything else.
Thanks much for the recipe. It's something I can make for myself in a small enough batch to be worthwhile if Bill doesn't like it, and I think it would store well.

(9,992 posts)it has onions in it too and might help slide the fennel by mr beac more easily (he claims not to like fennel, but he actually does when it's cooked )
I'm visiting my fennel-loving mom & stepdad in a few weeks and might make the fennel-parm one for them. Plus, they have a Trader Joe's there and fennel is MUCH cheaper at TJ's.
Looking foward to comparing notes!
