My oldest brother used a similar recipe to introduce his young sons to the kitchen. Did it in a 9 inch cast iron skillet, slid into the oven till browned.
Ingredients
1 1/2 c flour
3 Tbs sugar
1/2 c oil
2 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp salt
Filling
1 large can sliced peaches ( drained )
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 1/3 c flour
Topping
3/4 c flour
1/2 c dark brown sugar
1/3 c butter, melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Mix first 5 ingredients and pat into 9 inch pie plate
Mix filling and spoon into pie crust
Mix topping and drop by spoon onto filling
Bake and enjoy

(106,886 posts)4. 350. Disclaimer - For better or worse, I cook most everything at 350, save to sear meat at the start
then I turn it down to 350 or less.
